Hi! You’ve fallen right into my trap corner of the Internet. I made this space as an experiment in self-expression. It scratches an itch that I call my “share-switch”: the sudden, overwhelming urge to impart a recent experience to another person.

Anyone is susceptible to the share-switch. My best friend. A random Discord channel. A teacher I had class with years ago. Imagine: “I saw this dog while I was out and I said ‘I love you’ a little too loudly.” Or, “you gotta see this hyper-specific meme that’s only funny with background knowledge I know you don’t have.” Congrats, you’re next in line!

That’s why I created this website as an alternative to a social media page: my “un-page”.

Why an “un-page”?

  1. True expression is disorganized. Platforms impose structure. They confine new ideas to post formats, character limitations, and linear timelines. An un-page embraces my messiness and offshoot trains of thought.
  2. Thoughts can change. After hitting “post”, what we share is instantly visible to hundreds of people. Once it’s out, it’s hard to take back. So I pre-edit. I mask. I spend more time writing for the eyes of other people than actually sharing things. There is more flexibility with an un-page.
  3. There is relief in disconnecting. Social media feeds are full of highlight reels and doomscrolling traps. Being active on social media isn’t a bad thing, but being too immersed is exhausting. Creating an un-page is a healthier, more productive alternative.

All of the content here is intentionally unorganized. Take a look around by following a trail of links.
